آسماں تھے تو فقط میرے خیالات میں تھے

میرے دل پر تو گریں آبلے بن کر بوندیں

کون سی یاد کے صحرا تھے جو برسات میں تھے

اس سبب سے بھی تو میں قابل نفرت ٹھہرا

جتنے جوہر تھے محبت کے مری ذات میں تھے

صرف شیطان ہی نہ تھا منکر تکریم ندیمؔ
